Working largely through self-exploration, my work is predominantly, although loosely, figurative. I have worked in a range of styles, from strictly representational (portraits, human figures, etc) to completely abstracted forms, and many variations between, and often including a slice of humour. My practice is mainly with ceramic media, often in combination metal work. Many of my stoneware pieces fit well in a garden setting.
I have exhibited regularly in Open Exhibitions in the region, most recently (2020-2022) at the Raveningham Sculpture Trail, the Bayfield Hall Sculpture Trail and the Waveney and Blyth Trail at Potton Hall. My first installation in a ‘public’ space is at Dalegate Market, Burnham Deepdale (Dalegate Market) on the North Norfolk Coastal Road.
Some of the pieces shown on this site are available for sale. (Sizes are indicated in the Gallery as heights (cm) without the bases). If you are interested in buying any of the work please contact me. Monies generated from my work goes to charity.
